โWhy are you always going on and on about reimagining life and work?โ asked my friend.
We met a few months ago, and she wanted to understand my fascination with this topic and its meaning.
Hereโs what I told her:
Most people think about the future - the ways theyโd like to be, activities theyโd like to engage in, places they want to travel, or businesses theyโd like to startโฆ
And some people - like you - are actively engaged in working towards that future - either because you want to or because the universe gave you a push.
I love people like you.
You light me up because you are traveling through what I call The Gap.
The Gap is the space between where you are today and where you want to be.ย ย
I have traveled The Gap; itโs a mountainous rollercoaster.
Some days, you make significant progress. Youโre naturally high, and your confidence soars. Other days are a huge struggleโyour confidence dips. The universe might even kick you as if to test you. But you get up again and persist. And, in return, the universe matches your resolve.ย
When youโre in The Gap, you realize that the saying, โWhat got you here wonโt get you there,โ was meant for you - now.
So you start to look around - for inspiration, guides, frameworks, tools, mantras - and you become increasingly open to figuring out what will get you there.ย
The truth: You are the fix and already have the answers within.ย
The growth between here and there - during your struggle and perseverance - is how you realize your dreams. Itโs your gold. Itโs your story building in real-time - the story that makes you. The one youโll tell the next generation - or perhaps the whole world.
Unfortunately, you usually feel more like crap than gold during your time in The Gap. And, your story isnโt one youโre ready to tell anyone, sometimes not even yourself.ย
I understand.
Reimagining parts of your life, career, or business isnโt easy - especially if youโre high-achieving and continuously moving the bar higher - thatโs often when the stakes tend to get higher, too.
At a minimum, your worldview - and view of your work and yourself - will need to evolve radically. And youโll need to get comfortable living on your edge - and, in many cases, get skilled at taking people to the edge with you.
Me? I have a knack for catalyzing breakthroughs. Honoring your story, exploring The Gap with you, challenging your assumptions and perspectives, and shaking things up a bitโor a lot.
As your humble and equally vulnerable partner, I will light up your transformation, draw out your inner wisdom, and support you as you make the leaps and bounds you desire.
Iโve learned from my own experiences that, although the journey through The Gap requires a lot of inner work, you shouldnโt travel there alone.ย
And thatโs why Iโm going on and on about reimagining life and work.ย
One step at a time.ย
With authenticity and heart.ย
Are you with me?
It's like you knew exactly what I needed to hear today! Nice hearing your voice too
